  6. My Book Report
    By Rees G.

My book is Fantasy League. It is about a boy named Charlie Gaines and his nickname is “Brain.” His mom works at Sony Studios in Culver City, California. He is a brain about football and Charlie knows everything about it. Charlie has a friend named Anna who has a grandpa that owns a football team. Charlie calls Anna’s grandfather Mr. Warren.

Mr. Warren owns the failing Los Angeles Bulldogs, but once he talks to Charlie it all changes. Charlie is at a pre-season game with Mr. Warren and tells Joe Warren to sign Tom Pinkett. The Bulldogs end up signing Pinkett. They will never regret signing Pinkett, but somehow everyone found out that Charlie told Mr. Warren.

Charlie plays on the Culver City Cardinals and his position is Linebacker. He used his brain and his skills for the Cardinals. He also helped out Mr. Warren again by telling him about Jack “Sack” Sutton. Charlie saw him run at Sony Studios. Again, the Bulldogs used Charlie’s advice but this time it didn’t get everywhere.

The Bulldogs were a bit skeptical about signing Sutton but it worked. Jack got into a lot of trouble before retired. He also hurt his knee a few times before retiring. While playing for the Bulldogs Sack played amazing but made some mistakes.

In Charlie’s football championship game, the Cardinals played the Palo Verdes Vikings. The Vikings were winning 25-20. Then Charlie made an amazing play to sack Graham Yost. Graham fumbled the ball and Charlie picked it up and ran it a long way to the five-yard line without looking back. Charlie fumbled the ball but picked it up to score the championship winning touchdown.

The Bulldogs also might make the play-offs. Charlie was watching it with Mr. Warren in the hospital because Mr. Warren had Hodgkin’s cancer. Later in the game Jack Sutton joined them because he busted his knee. The Bulldogs won the game on a last second passing touchdown. This is my book report, what is yours?

  8. Do you like comedy? My paper is about a comedy book. I really like comedy. The main character is Jamie, he does stand up comedy. He also has attended comedy competitions. My book is called I Totally Funniest, by James Patterson.

The other characters are Uncle Frankie, the twins, Stevie and the Smiley's family. The book takes place in the lunch room, then talent show and finally a competition in Hollywood. Uncle Frankie supported Jamie along with his family, the Smiley's. The twins were the enemies of Jamie's at the competition in Hollywood.

So Jamie Grimm got famous by winning the competition for the planets funniest kid comic. Now he gets to go to the finals in Hollywood. One of his jokes is "My first time on stage at the comedy club I nearly drowned in my own flop sweat. Good thing my seat cushion is basically a giant sponge." So that was his winning joke. He got the title of planets funniest kid comic and won one million dollars.

The thought I had about this book is that it is great. Jamie's jokes made me laugh. If you like comedy this book is for you. I give it 5 stars.

    Book Report

    Dear Rachel Wise

Hi, My name is Kaisha H, And I’m one of your “Dear Know-It-All” readers. I had to say that your 1st book was great! I really don’t think there is anything to change. I think it was funny and cute! ❤. 😃 I was up until 11:00 P.M. reading this book! What I like about Samantha is that she is a sweet girl, has a good heart, loves to be a journalist and proud of her self. What I dislike about is that Hailey Jones started the problem with Samantha. ☹
What I like ❤ was Michael’s character! Michaels cinnamon buns sounded so good that I wanted one! 😝 I thought what was funny was Sam was hungry and Michael had a granola bar for Sam. What I like about this story is that the whole book is in first person, ( I love first person). This story is rated 100 stars from me! I really did like this book I might even read the whole series.
Rachel your first book of “Dear Know-It-All, Read All About It” is amazing! I think you’re a great writer. And guess what?! I love your writing to much that I got the 2nd book of “Dear Know-It-All, Set the Record Straight”. I can’t wait to read it! 😊 Did you write any other series or books? How old we’re you when you started writing? Do you play Minecraft? If you do tell me your username. Well I hope you make you series and like this letter! 😎
    Sincerely,
Your “Dear Know-It-All” fan or Reader
    Kaisha H.

    Pg.2

The beginning of the story starts off by Samantha coming home from school. The real story begins when Samantha gets home and gets a call from Mr. Trigg, (her teacher). Mr. Trigg ask Samantha if she wants to be Dear Know-It-All. Dear Know-It-All is on the front page of the school newspaper. But she can’t tell anyone that she is Dear Know-It-All, not even her best friend, Hailey! The Dear Know-It-All is like being a secret service member for the newspaper.
In the middle of the story is where Samantha gets assigned with her cute crush, Michael! Jeff puts up some photos on Buddy Book. And now Michael is mad because Jeff put up photos without Michael’s permission! Jeff takes funny and fantastic photos of kids at school. Then Sam gets letters from Mr. Trigg to find a fun subject for her Dear Know-It-All. About the assigned article with Michael, she is so embarrasses now that’s she is assigned with her crush. Sam decides to do the article on this letter, “ What do you do when you and your best friend have a crush on the same person?”. She chose this article because she was thought it would be interesting and her reader might really enjoy it.
This is where the ending begins. While Sam is writing this article she sees that Hailey is kind of flirting with Michael, so Sam starts to get frustrated. Hailey invites Sam for a sleepover. At the sleepover when Hailey needed to go get something, Sam saw on Hailey’s computer that the letter she is writing about, the Dear Know-It-All is from Hailey! Sam was super surprised when she found this out that Hailey wrote the letter! She tried to hide it from Hailey that she knew. Sam and Hailey have a little argument that they both like Michael. But Hailey saves the day for Sam and Michael’s article. Because of Hailey, Sam and Hailey become best friends again!

    Pg. 3

Reading this book I found that some of Sam’s characteristics are similar to my character. She is as silly as me because she plays jokes. She is as smart as me because is a journalist and I also like to write stories. She is as sweet as me because she helps Hailey with her homework. I really enjoy the ending because Sam and Hailey became friends again.
